iPhone 5G to have Edge-to-Edge Screen?
The rumors about the fifth generation of iPhone keep on changing from time to time with hardly any official statement on the future of the iPhone franchise yet. However, there are a lot of rumors to feed off in the meantime. The latest rumors in the market are that the next phone from apple will not be the fifth generation of iPhone, but in fact an upgrade on iPhone 4 called the iPhone 4S. The other very prominent rumor goes beyond an idea. A website called Alibaba.com, which is based in Asia, has a product category where it is apparently a listing for the iPhone 5G. An iPhone has an edge-to-edge screen, which is bound to catch the eye. The edge-to-edge screen is catching the eye and raising many an eyebrow. At the same time, it is setting the market for the iPhone abuzz with anticipation.
The image has led to more speculation that the new phone will have a new position for a camera flash that is bound to set rumor mongers abuzz trying to understand where the placement will be. The rumor that is strongest still is the fact that iPhone will release in all likelihood an upgrade on iPhone 4 than an iPhone 5G.
This upgrade will have certain changes such as a dual core A5 processor, better cameras, and support for HSPA+. However if the iPhone 5G is indeed released then it is expected to possess the ability to function on a 4G/LTE network. The date for release is being argued to be in the fall or in the summer. While we fight over the time, the rumors on ‘whether’ as well as ‘what’ seem to be more important, than those of ‘when’.
While the rumors are abuzz in the market and the iPhone following in the market is dying to get a hold of some solid information on the iPhone5G, the whole world is waiting on Apple to announce something substantial in their next WWDC conference, which is held annually. However, the most likely announcement will be for another announcement in early September about the details of the iPhone. Up until then, it’s all about waiting and watching and looking out for the next major rumor. However, Apple has not disappointed those who wait before this and they do not seem to be heading towards disappointment this time either.
